THE STORY
During 2016 I had the pleasure to work with Olympus Greece in order to document the Kavala Air Sea Show with their flagship camera at the time, the Amazing OM-D E-M1 and the 40-15 f2.8.
During the Kavala Air Sea Show 2016 I traveled to Thassos Island in order to document an amazing historical flight featuring David Bremmer and his hand-made fully functional replica of the Bristol Scout: a WWI Aircraft that was widely used at the time for scouting purposes.
Also I was in charge of a team of 10 photographers who were documenting the airshow in Kavala during the peak weekend.
THE PROJECT
I was granted unlimited access in order to document the two Eurofighters and the C-160 of the German Air Force Static Display that came along with the support crew.
During their stay at the International Airport of Kavala I was able to document the arrival of the aircrafts, the crews and the action around them.
I also had the chance to enter the cockpit of the C-160 and get the full tour, thanks to the hospitality and kindness of the crew.
Here you can see some of the photos that I was able to capture during their stay.
