THE STORY
During 2016 I had the pleasure to work with Olympus Greece in order to document the Kavala Air Sea Show with their flagship camera at the time, the Amazing OM-D E-M1 and the 40-15 f2.8.
During the Kavala Air Sea Show 2016 I traveled to Thassos Island in order to document an amazing historical flight featuring David Bremmer and his hand-made fully functional replica of the Bristol Scout: a WWI Aircraft that was widely used at the time for scouting purposes.
Also I was in charge of a team of 10 photographers who were documenting the airshow in Kavala during the peak weekend.
THE PROJECT
I was granted unlimited access in order to document the Baltic Bees, an acrobatics team that was formed in 2008.
Baltic Bees Background info:
First flights were flown in a two-ship formation. During the following years two more jets were added to the team and a full display program was created. In very short period the team managed to create an advanced display program and gain reputation as a professional civilian aerobatic team. From the beginning of the team, flying instructor and creator of the display program in well known aerobatic pilot Valery Sobolev.
